Welcome to the MojoToGo Studio Blog!
If you’re a creative soul who’s ever thought, “Could I really turn this into something more?” — you’re in the right place.
I’m Deborah, and after more than 30 years as a professional photographer and author, my creative path has taken an exciting — and sometimes slightly chaotic — turn into the world of digital art, AI-assisted creativity, print-on-demand, and online selling.
This blog began as a place to document my journey building an Etsy shop — learning what works, what doesn’t, and what I wish someone had told me sooner. And now, it’s growing right along with me.
Today, Mojo To Go Studio is also home to a WooCommerce shop connected directly to this blog, which means I’m learning a whole new side of online business — from owning your platform to managing products, marketing, and building a brand outside of a marketplace.
I’m not here pretending to have all the answers. I am here to share what I’m learning in real time — the wins, the missteps, the experiments, and the “aha!” moments — so you don’t have to figure everything out alone.
Whether you’re dreaming, dabbling, or already selling, you’re welcome here.
What You’ll Find Here
Creative Inspiration
We’ll explore both digital art and traditional photography, blending old-school creative foundations with modern tools. From clip art and AI-assisted artwork to fine art and stock photography, as well as mockups and printable designs, I’ll share ideas, techniques, and creative sparks to keep you inspired.
🛍️ Product Creation (without the overwhelm)
Creating products is one thing — creating sellable products is another. I’ll walk you through how I develop ideas, design listings, and build cohesive product lines for Etsy and WooCommerce, with practical, step-by-step guidance whenever possible.
Print on Demand (POD) – navigating the process with POD companies like Gelato and Printify
From canvas wraps and puzzles to journals, wall art, and more, I’ll share what I’m learning about POD — including tools, workflows, pros and cons, and how I decide what’s worth offering (and what’s not).
Promotion & Visibility
Opening a shop — whether on Etsy or your own website — is just the beginning. We’ll talk honestly about organic growth, SEO, social media, newsletters, and paid ads, with strategies that work for different budgets and comfort levels.
Learning Together
This blog is very much a learn-with-me space. As I continue navigating Etsy and building out my WooCommerce shop, I’ll share lessons learned, helpful resources, and occasional guest posts from creative friends — including Etsy sellers and handmade shop owners who generously share their experiences.
